Panel: Management of Complications in Augmentation Mammaplasty
Objective: To provide a comprehensive review of implant related complications and their management following breast augmentation. The panelist will review the management of problems related to the skin envelope, capsule, and rupture. Short-term and long-term morbidities will be discussed. The available devices for breast augmentation that include both saline and silicone gel, will be reviewed with an emphasis on how they have improved and how they may reduce morbidity.
