Lecture: 75 Years After Transplants - Where are we now?
Objective: To discuss the development of organ transplantation and the essential role of plastic surgeons in its progress. Drs. John M. Converse, Linden Peer, Milton T. Edgerton, Blair O. Rogers, Herb Conway and many others will be mentioned. Special highlight will be given to the role of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in the publication of key organ transplantation manuscripts at a time when getting papers published in established journals was difficult.
