Panel: Current Issues and Advancements in Transplantation
Objective: To overview current clinical experiences with composite tissue allotransplantation (CTA) of the face, hand, and abdominal wall with specific focus on technical issues of transplant design, pharmaceutical protocols, and outcomes relating to function, risk, and complications. An update on research efforts in CTA will discuss current and future strategies for the modulation of immune tolerance.
