Objective(s): To provide a state-of-the-art overview regarding innovations and modifications in the techniques of abdominoplasty focussing on the expanded role of liposuction in mini-abdominoplasty and full abdominoplasty procedures. Learners will obtain information for practice implementation to improve post-surgical outcomes including patient assessment, pre-operative planning, along with approaches to the secondary abdominoplasty deformity. The panel will also address limitations of current techniques and the management of complications.
