Various Asian Eyelid Expansion Surgery

Introduction: Asian people want more wide and bigger eyelid. Especially medial canthal caruncle is covered with mongolian fold. And lateral canthal space is narrow. Upper eyelid level is lower and low lid level is higher in Asian eyelid.

Methods: Four direction expansion surgery is very popular in Korea. We perform medial epicanthoplasty, cosmetic lateral canthoplasty, low lid down expansion surgery, and upper eyelid elevation surgery. Operation procedure is is very various. But purpose is same as big and expanded eyelid.

Results:  I performed four direction lid expansion surgery more than 10 years without serious complications.

Conclusions: By my personal technique of four direction lid expansion surgery, we experienced more improved cosmetic results.
