Price Transparency in the Online Age

Price transparency is the singular buzzword in healthcare in the last several years. However, healthcare and especially plastic surgery and other out-of-pocket specialties have resisted this openess. However, studies show that price transparency prior to a cosmetic consultation will improve the chances of booking surgery.  We will review the advantages and disadvantages of prices transparency, the current statistical analysis of providing pricing information to consumers and how it can improve the efficiency of the plastic surgeon's practice.
